On this website you can find information about the Institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, that offer programmes to international students. I would like to apply for higher education in the Netherlands. How do I apply? I live in a country outside the EU.
Everyone who wants to apply for an educational institution, has to apply via Studielink or via the website from the institution. If you have difficulties applying via Studielink you can contact the Helpdesk Studielink on +31 (0)884247600.
Can anyone apply for a study programme or are there certain restrictions?
For some courses, lots have to be drawn (in view of a quota). Educational institutions all have their own rules for admission. Therefore, always contact the institution of your choice. If you intend to take up a higher education course, do not forget to visit the Nuffic. This website covers a variety of subjects, especially for foreign students.
Keep in mind that universities and universities for applied sciences have a strict admission policy. We recommend that you contact the admission office or the student counsellor of the institution in question. Strict deadlines for central application apply to quota studies, studies with decentralised selection and several hbo courses with additional requirements.
